Kumbe! Three officials just got caught red-handed pocketing over Ksh17.9 million using fake papers — and the EACC is not playing around. One dude forged TWO certificates to land a cushy university gig. Sawa, so much for that "I studied hard" narrative.

The Fake Certificates Heist

Picture this: you walk into an interview with fake KCSE papers, land a plush job at Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company, and start collecting fat paychecks for work you're not even qualified to do. Lakini that's exactly what two NCWSC officials allegedly did, each pocketing millions in salaries they had absolutely no business receiving. One guy made Ksh9.4 million, the other Ksh5.9 million — all because some forged certificates looked good enough to fool the system.

But wait, the plot thickens, bana. The third suspect took the fraud game to the next level. This chap didn't stop at one fake paper — he forged TWO certificates to get hired at Kaimosi Friends University in Vihiga County. We're talking a bogus Diploma from Kenya College of Commerce AND a fake Bachelor's degree from Zetech University. Double trouble, double the dishonesty, and double the audacity. The guy still managed to squeeze out Ksh2.5 million in salary before getting caught. Aki, the confidence!

EACC Is Done With These Games

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission arrested these suspects faster than you can say "forgery" and hit them with serious charges: forgery, uttering false documents, and fraudulent acquisition of public property. These aren't light charges, jamaa. The two NCWSC guys were nabbed on May 11 and appeared before Milimani Anti-Corruption Court, where they denied everything — classic move. But the court wasn't buying it. Each got released on Ksh300,000 cash bail or Ksh1 million bond with a surety.

The Kaimosi University suspect got arrested May 12 at his home in Cheptulu and appeared in Kakamega Law Courts the next day facing the same heavy charges. The DPP has already approved prosecution, which means these guys are about to have a very bad time in court. Si uone how fast the system can move when corruption is involved?

💥 Why This Is Viral

  • Nearly Ksh18 million stolen through pure deception — that's someone's tax money gone!
  • The audacity of forging TWO university certificates to land one job. Unprecedented levels of dishonesty.
  • It exposes how weak our credential verification systems really are. Sawa, but how did these fakes pass initial screening?
  • These are officials — people supposed to be trustworthy, not thieves in suits

The Jukwaa Take: When your fake papers are faker than your promise to yourself that you'll hit the gym Monday morning, it's time to reconsider your life choices — because the EACC is hunting you down with full force.
