Huduma Kenya has announced the rollout of Kenya School of Government (KSG) services at selected Huduma Centers nationwide.
🇰🇪 Breaking It Down
The new arrangement, as per a public notice issued on May 20, was launched in Uasin Gishu County and will be implemented across 16 Huduma Centers nationwide.
Pilot services were launched at the Uasin Gishu Huduma Center, marking the start of the partnership between Huduma Kenya and KSG to decentralise public-sector training service delivery across the country.
“Kenyans can now access Kenya School of Government (KSG) services at Huduma Centers, following today’s launch at Uasin Gishu Huduma Center,” stated Huduma Kenya.
📌 What You Need to Know
Adding, “The rollout covers 16 Huduma Centers nationwide, expanding the service offering and bringing services closer to citizens.”
Some of the services to be provided at the selected centers include leadership training, research, consultancy, and organisational development training for public servants.
Other key aspects of the centers include mandatory leadership courses, specialised governance training, and public administration programmes aimed at strengthening training and improving service delivery across government institutions nationwide.
Digital training covering artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and e-government systems, aimed at supporting Kenya’s ongoing digital transformation agenda within the public service sector framework, will also be incorporated in the Huduma Centers.
With this transition, more than 180 programs delivered in person and via e-learning platforms across the country will now be available via Huduma Centers.
Huduma Centres have expanded their service delivery this year by integrating several new national and county government services, making it easier for Kenyans to access essential public services.
