Scores of passengers have sustained injuries after a bus they were traveling in overturned at Kapmakaa, Chepsir, along the Nakuru-Kericho highway.

Images obtained by Kenyans.co.ke show the bus, affiliated with Climax Coach plunged on the side of the road, with several injured people lying on the ground on the roadside.

Further reports indicate the accident occurred along the busy Nakuru–Eldoret Highway near Mau Summit, Chepsir, in Kericho County, a key transport corridor linking the Rift Valley region.

On the roadside, onlookers are seen trying to save the injured persons from the carnage, with no visible sign of police, or medical emergency services in sight.
