The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KEMSA) has called on Kenyans to brace for possible rains across several counties in the next seven days, as most parts of the country are expected to remain cool and dry.
🇰🇪 Breaking It Down
In its latest seven-day weather forecast released on Thursday, August 13, western and parts of the Rift Valley are more likely to receive rainfall, while much of the country remains dry.
Counties including Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Kericho, Nyandarua, and Nyeri are expected to receive rainfall from August 13 to August 20.
According to KMSA, while western Kenya and parts of the Rift Valley could experience rain, several other counties could experience intermittent cool, cloudy conditions.
📌 What You Need to Know
Areas like Nairobi, Embu, Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Laikipia, Meru, and Murang'a counties are among those expected to experience intermittent cool, cloudy conditions.
Other areas include Nyandarua, Nyeri, Tharaka-Nithi, Nakur u, Machakos, Kajiado, Taita-Taveta, Marsabit, and Wajir counties.
