In a statement obtained by Kenyans.co.ke on Saturday, June 27, KRA insisted that the statutory deadline remains unchanged despite growing concerns over technical challenges that have affected some taxpayers attempting to access the iTax system.
"KRA wishes to remind taxpayers that there will be no extension of the filing deadline. All returns must be submitted on or before 30th June 2026, in accordance with the law," the tax authority said.
