Traffic was temporarily disrupted along Limuru Road, near City Park Market  as boda boda operators blocked the busy road in a fresh wave of demonstrations on Monday, May 25.

By Monday afternoon, a section of Limuru Road was rendered impassable as more than 100 operators occupied the road, causing considerable traffic disruptions.

Bodaboda riders were first spotted in Westlands hours earlier, riding toward Nairobi's Central Business District to protest alleged harassment by county government enforcement officers.

Limuru Road, is an important artery in the Nairobi metropolitan area, serving as a critical commercial, residential, and agricultural corridor.
