📌 What You Need to Know
The lender said the Voices Organising for Inclusive Civic Engagement and Sustainability (VOICES) consortium and the African Institute for Development Policy and the Organisation of African Youth will manage the grant.
“Civil society organisations and youth-led organisations in Kenya are invited to partner and apply for the GFF × CIVIC VOICES grants, with up to USD3.35 million available across 22 countries,” the lender said.
The programme aims to strengthen civil society groups and youth leadership in Kenya while promoting efforts to increase funding for women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health and nutrition.
According to the Bretton Woods institution, applicants must form partnerships of two to three organisations, with at least one being youth-led to be eligible for the grant.
Eligible applicants include local civil society organisations, youth-led organisations and community-based organisations operating in the participating African countries, including Kenya.
Successful organisations will receive grants which will last up to 18 months, alongside advocacy training, technical assistance on budget analysis and mentorship.
