Developer Access

Build with Jukwaa responsibly

Jukwaa developer access lets approved applications retrieve channel information and connect creator workflows while respecting privacy, copyright, payment, anti-piracy and prohibited-content rules.

1. Create an app

Create a development application from your account to receive an APP_ID and APP_SECRET.

2. Authorise a user

Send the user to /oauth?app_id={YOUR_APP_ID}. After approval, Jukwaa redirects back with a temporary code.

3. Exchange the code

Use your app credentials and code to request an access token, then call the API endpoint needed by your integration.

GET https://jukwaa.africa/api/v1.0?type=get_channel_info&access_token={ACCESS_TOKEN}

Developer Responsibilities

Use API access only for lawful, authorised and documented purposes.
Do not scrape, harvest, copy, mirror or extract platform data without written permission.
Protect APP_SECRET, access tokens, user data and creator data with reasonable security controls.
Respect copyright, privacy, anti-piracy, takedown and prohibited-content requirements.
Do not manipulate views, purchases, comments, payouts, referrals or engagement metrics.
