Egypt prepares to launch clinical trials for Ebola vaccine

Egypt’s Minapharm is developing an Ebola vaccine as African countries take a leading role in responding to outbreaks on the continent. The company is preparing to begin human trials in Rwanda in December. If approved, the vaccine could be rolled out in the Democratic Republic of Congo as early as 2027.
