Mambo Sawa Sawa - Rev Ruth Wamuyu (OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO)

This song was written during a time of uncertainty, when pursuing my passion for ministry and building a career felt daunting. I was struggling to make ends meet and often had to walk long distances because I couldn’t afford transportation. However, in the midst of this hardship, the Holy Spirit spoke to me during a walk to a church service, assuring me that with Jesus in my life, things would get better. This experience inspired me to write the song, though I had no intention of recording it anytime soon. But within the same month, a miracle happened, and the song was released in August 1998 together with my sisters, The Songbirds. It had a huge impact both in Kenya and abroad.
